About ICC

The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) is constituted as per the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (POSH Act). The committee ensures a safe and harassment-free environment for all students and staff members at DECTE.

ICC Mandate

Receive complaints of sexual harassment at the workplace
Conduct inquiry following principles of natural justice
Recommend action to the management/employer
Ensure confidentiality of complainant and respondent
Conduct awareness programmes on gender sensitization
Submit annual report to the employer and District Officer
Provide interim relief to the complainant during inquiry
Complete inquiry within 90 days of receiving complaint

Filing a Complaint

Any aggrieved person can file a written complaint to the ICC within 3 months of the incident.
