Payment Policy

1. Overview

Daying Ering College of Teacher Education (DECTE) collects academic fees by direct UPI transfer to the college account. You pay using your own UPI app, then upload the payment receipt on this website. The accounts office verifies it and issues an official receipt. This policy outlines the terms governing those payments.

2. What Payments Are Collected For

Payments collected through our online system include:

  • Admission application fees
  • Admission confirmation fees
  • Tuition fees (semester-wise)
  • Examination fees
  • Registration fees
  • Library charges
  • Certificate fees
  • Hostel fees (if applicable)
  • Other academic charges as approved by the college

3. Payment Methods

  • UPI transfer to the college UPI ID, using any UPI app (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, etc.)
  • Scanning the college QR code shown on the fee payment page
  • Cash, demand draft or bank transfer at the college accounts office

The college does not accept card payments or net banking through this website, and there is no third-party payment gateway involved. All transactions are in Indian Rupees (INR).

4. Payment Security

  • The actual payment happens inside your own UPI app and bank. We never see or handle your card numbers, UPI PIN, CVV or banking passwords.
  • We store only the receipt image you upload and the UPI transaction reference number you enter.
  • Uploaded receipts are visible only to authorised accounts staff and administrators.
  • All traffic to this website is encrypted using SSL/TLS.
  • Always confirm the UPI ID and payee name shown on the fee payment page before paying. Never pay to a UPI ID sent to you privately.

5. How Your Payment Is Confirmed

  1. Pay the amount due by scanning the college QR code or sending it to the college UPI ID.
  2. Note the UPI transaction reference number and save a screenshot of the successful payment.
  3. Sign in to the student portal and upload the screenshot along with the reference number.
  4. Your payment shows as Awaiting verification until the accounts office checks it against the bank statement.
  5. Once approved, an official receipt is generated and can be downloaded from the student portal.

Verification is normally completed within 2 working days. Paying without uploading the receipt will not update your fee status, because the college cannot match an unidentified transfer to your account.

6. Rejected or Disputed Payments

A submitted receipt may be rejected if the amount, date or reference number does not match the bank record, or if the screenshot is unreadable.

  • You will see the rejection reason against that payment in the student portal.
  • Do not pay again before checking with the accounts office — the original transfer may still be traceable.
  • If money left your account but the college has no record of it, contact the accounts office with your UPI reference number and bank statement entry.
  • Failed UPI transfers where money was debited are refunded by your own bank, usually within 3-5 working days. The college is not party to that refund.

7. Fee Structure

Current fee structure for Two Year B.Ed Course (2025-26):

  • Total Fee: ₹1,80,000
  • Instalment 1: ₹80,000 — At the time of admission
  • Instalment 2: ₹50,000 — Before start of 2nd semester
  • Instalment 3: ₹30,000 — Before start of 3rd semester
  • Instalment 4: ₹20,000 — Before start of 4th semester

Fee once paid is non-refundable. Examination fees are separate; transportation fee is compulsory.

8. No Physical Goods

DECTE is an educational institution. No physical goods are shipped or delivered. All services are educational in nature and delivered at the college campus or through online portals.
